The ‘Not Your Mother’s Minivan’ campaign celebrates the 15th anniversary of Kia Motors’ iconic 2010 ‘A New Way to Roll’ hamsters advertising campaign. The goal was to revitalize the campaign for its same audience in a new stage of their life; millennials are settling down and some are entering new parenthood, providing the perfect opportunity for a connection as Kia makes an effort to mature their public image. The art direction, aiming for visual distinction from the original campaign, provided a unique challenge.
