Janet’s Cakery is a beloved Corpus Christi bakery established in 1986 by its namesake, Janet Limerick. The bakery, well-known in the area for its custom birthday cakes, petit fours, and cookies, featured a calligraphic logo that has great personality, but poor legibility and flexibility. I aimed to highlight the person behind the brand and modernize the identity, designing a stylized logomark of Janet using friendly, rounded shapes reminiscent of cakes, cookies, and other baked goods.
